Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026

Blitz is operated by FORTYNINE AND A HALF LABS, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights. By using Blitz, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Blitz is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require account creation. We collect the following limited information:

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising or share it with advertising networks.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with carefully selected third-party service providers to operate the App, including analytics services and purchase verification services. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and may access anonymized or pseudonymous data only as necessary to perform their services. They are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes or sharing it with additional third parties without our consent. Each provider is governed by its own privacy policy.

We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party, except as required by law or as necessary to protect our legal rights.

4. Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information about you if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (a) protect the rights, property, or safety of FORTYNINE AND A HALF LABS, LLC, our users, or the public; (b) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (c) enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained by our analytics provider for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymized further. Crash report data is retained for up to 90 days. Local device data (progress, settings, streaks) remains on your device until you uninstall the app or reset your progress via Settings → Reset All Progress. If you contact us for support, we retain your email address only as long as needed to resolve your request.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Blitz is intended for students ages 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 in the United States, as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"):

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information in the normal course of operating the App and do not sell personal information, most of these rights have limited practical application. We are committed to honoring them to the extent applicable. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

8. EU, EEA, and UK Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, European Union, or United Kingdom, the following applies to you under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or UK GDPR:

Legal bases for processing. We process data under the following legal bases: (a) Legitimate interests — anonymous analytics and crash reporting to maintain and improve the App; (b) Contract performance — purchase verification to deliver content you have paid for; (c) Legal obligation — where required by applicable law.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Age. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you must be at least 16 years old to use Blitz, or have verifiable parental consent as required by applicable national law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following controls over your data at any time:

10. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk.

11. International Data Transfers

Blitz is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, any information processed by our analytics, crash reporting, and purchase verification services may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required by applicable law (including GDPR), such transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the relevant regulatory authority. By using the App, you acknowledge these transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Blitz after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you must stop using the App.
